Nutrition and Teenagers

In this activity, you will identify several factors that affect your nutritional requirements. You will learn to measure your basal metabolic rate (BMR) and active metabolic rate (AMR). You will determine the approximate number of calories your body needs to maintain good health.  Then you will design a restaurant and menu to meet the daily nutritional needs of a member of your group. See the lab sheet for more details. Here, you will find links to use to gather your information.
