The purpose of this project is to help you become familiar with different groups within the animal kingdom.

You will write book for each animal group to which you are assigned. The first page of you book will be a cover page with your name and an appropriate title. On the next five pages, you will need to include the following information:

meaning of the name

body symmetry

example

habitat

significance

Your book should be suitable for a 3rd grade student to read and learn about your animal. Include pictures on each page of your book with pictures that illustrate the information included on the page. (For example, draw a picture of where the animal lives on the page describing the habitat).

Make a display case for you books (individual cereal boxes work well) and decorate it to present your books to the class.
