Portknockie is a quiet and friendly picturesque village. It was winner of the districts Village in Bloom competition last year, hopefully it will win again this year. There is a harbour with small boats and paddling pool for children. There is a sandy beach between Portknockie and Cullen which is a 5 minute walk from Parkview. Visitors are welcome at the nearby Bowling green and tennis courts. Lovely coastal walks for your leisurely strolls and is part of the Aberdeen to Inverness cycle route. You have a very good chance of watching the Moray Firth dolphins as they pass by daily.
