| After attending JCC for about a year and a
half, I got married to Gloria Rutledge (some of you may know her from 7th grade at Frost),
we had one daughter (Heather, 30, single, one son--which makes me a grandpa) and two sons
(Jason, 29, married, and Joshua 24, single), all of whom are living in California as of
right now. I got divorced in 1983, and I tried marriage again in 1985, which did not last
long. I was a single man for seven years till 1993, when I met and married Nancy, my
present and last wife (No more, No way!). The first few years out of school I lived in the Jackson area, worked as a draftsman at Commonwealth Assc. Inc in Jackson. Changed jobs and moved to Brooklyn and drove to Ann Arbor for work, did that almost five years. I was working at Bechtel in Ann Arbor when about 800 of us got laid off in December of 1974. We moved the family to Redding, CA in March of 1975, to work for the engineering firm of CH2M-Hill as an electrical designer/draftsman, and have now been here for 27 years and counting. I have worked in a bunch of different states, and still travel a little on business. My mother is still living in the Jackson area, and I get back to see her as often as I can. I keep in touch with a few buddies from the class of 68 that I grew up with. I exchange email with others from our class and would love to hear from anyone that would like to write. My desire in life, is to play as much golf as I can, get more fit, and to retire when I'm 60. Shoot! I'd retire at 62. I wish everyone peace and happiness. |
