| Carl and I celebrated 30 years of marriage this
year on April 3. We have both daughters married. Lori-Marie married five years ago and we
are expecting our first granddaughter in the middle of July. Our Lisa was married last
year and lives in the Kalamazoo area. Both girls graduated from WMU. My husband, Carl, works at WMU as Assistant Director of Maintenance Services and Energy Reduction Manager. He loves his job. He is also a volunteer fireman for Galesburg. I am still teaching private piano lessons to about 20 students a week. I’m the church organist in our Methodist church and also work with the adult choir. I also am President of the Kalamazoo Aglow International. We have many small groups of women who meet weekly for Bible study and prayer. Over a year ago, I started volunteering with an older woman who has a heart for children and we now meet every Wednesday night at our church to help encourage young people and show them God’s love. My parents are doing well and have moved back to Jackson after being in Lincoln, NE for many years. |
