| I am looking forward to a new life of
retirement and walks on the beach with my husband George, here on Amelia Island, FL. My
husband is retired as well. For the last 13 years I have been working for the Navy Exchange System in the Southeast District in various capacities from Buyer to Regional Merchandise Specialist. My territory included Puerto Rico; Guantanamo Bay, Cuba; Charleston, SC; Key West, FL; and New Orleans, LA to name a few. I can say the cities were great, but I won’t miss the travel. For those of you who knew my dad, Dr. Colbath — he passed away last May which was a great loss for our family. God willing I will see you in July at the reunion. I can’t believe it will be 35 years since graduating from Parkside High School. Things have changed. I was born in Foote Hospital (history), attended Bloomfield Elementary School (history, currently an adult education school), attended Frost Junior High School (history, currently an elementary school) and graduated from Parkside High School (history, currently a junior high school). Oh well, at least classmates exist, which is most important. |
