| The last five years have brought many changes
as we have tried to adjust to life without husband and father, Steve. I am very proud that
both of our daughters have now graduated from Michigan State University. Leslie works in
Human Resources in Howell, and Laura will marry in July before beginning an internship in
dietetics in the Detroit area. I have done a lot of traveling in the last five years with family and friends. I’ve gone to Florida several times to visit my parents, Colorado, and Las Vegas. I have also gone on two Caribbean cruises and made three trips to Europe. I’ve enjoyed it all a great deal and plan more trips in the future. One thing that has remained unchanged is my job. I’m still teaching seventh grade English at Carman-Ainsworth Jr. High. In two years I can retire, but probably will not, as I still enjoy my work. I am looking forward to hearing what is going on in the lives of the other '66 Parkside graduates and wish you well. |
