| Sorry I won’t be able to attend this
year’s reunion, but Alan’s family has a reunion in Gatlinburg, TN. All five of
his sisters, their spouses, children and now grandchildren spend that time being a family.
We have been getting together over the 4th of July for the last 25 years (we started with
11 adults and 13 children and now number 65 with two more babies due this year and one
wedding in the works). As you can guess, we take up quite a bit of space at the motel! As for me, I babysit for one of my nine grandchildren during the week, so I am still changing diapers and going through toilet training! We are expecting grandchild number 10 in October. Alan and I still have three boys at home. Dan is in college, and Matthew and John are finishing up their freshman year in high school. They informed me this morning there are only eight days left! Did it go by this quickly when we were in school? Things I enjoy doing — painting (rooms, not pictures), gardening, cross stitch, sewing, and crafts. Really had fun doing crafts for Halloween and Christmas with all the grandkids at my kitchen table this year. We had paint everywhere! What fun!
