Still married to my first wife, Antoinette (Toni) after 33 years. We have two children. Toni is already going through child withdrawal and we haven’t had one leave yet! She works for Drake, Waters and Breiger, CPA. She is thinking about retirement more all the time. Like all moms with kids and a job, she works too hard both at home and at work. We gave up going to the lake every weekend this year so summer won’t consist of getting everything ready to go through the week, going and wearing ourselves out, returning, unpacking, and then getting everything ready again for the next weekend. That should simplify her life considerably. The "Fam" wouldn’t let me get rid of the boat, so maybe I’ll see some of you at the Clark Lake Beach and Boat Club, as we are helping to pay their taxes as of this year.

Ehren J. is going to be 18 in June and is a senior at Vandercook Lake High School. He has been accepted at Michigan State University for the fall of 2001. He is a computer guy and has been going to the career center for the past two years as part of his high school education. He earned the A+ certification and passed his Novell Administrator’s test at the instructor level. They tell me that’s good for a 17-year-old! Beats me, I’m sure anything that has an A+ associated with it is something I am not familiar with! He’s been working two jobs for about two years and is active in church. He was baptized in March and of course, he’s in love.

Rachel Leigh (Raleigh) will be 15 in December and is the one with the sports ability in the family. She plays about everything that comes along and enjoys it all. She is in her third basketball league of the year. This is an AAU league that plays tournaments all over the place! She keeps us young or makes us old, not quite sure which way it’s gonna go yet! We have fun though. Hey — the hormone thing — why didn’t someone tell me ?!?

I am still buying, leasing, or renting real estate all over the state for a large companies facility. I enjoy my work most days — you know how that goes. If I don’t see you at the reunion — have fun!
