Apartments and Hotel
Dear Colleagues,
Perhaps there should be a Judicial Inquiry into Honeysuckle not just the
Section 119 Planning Inquiry we have requested.

Dear Sir,
The honesty and integrity of the planning system in NSW is in danger.
Phone 49 431781.
Carol Lawrence (NH 28/9/2000) is ignorant of the issues regarding the
Honeysuckle Becton DA for apartments and a Hotel.
The development as submitted to the consent authority, the Hon Minister
for Urban Affairs and Planning is contrary to the letter and spirit
of the objectives and public domain strategy of the statutory Plan.
The development should be revised to comply with the Plan.
The Minister for Urban Affairs and Planning is also responsible for
the Honeysuckle Development Corporation which is the registered owner
of the land. The same Ministerial entity became the determining authority
for Honeysuckle when he made the Central Honeysuckle Plan in December
1997
A letter filed at the Land Titles office in support of the Primary Application
(PA80415) states "that the development has the support of many
local and state politicians including the Deputy Premier" The Deputy.
Premier is the Minister for Planning, Honeysuckle and the determining
Authority.
The honesty and integrity of the planning system in NSW is in danger
if the objectors are denied the opportunity to place their evidence
before an independent commissioner advising the determining authority,
the Minister for Urban Affairs and Planning.
The issue in 1997 was a rezoning matter and there was no DA to be assessed.
Yours sincerely,
