This is our site which gives a tour and shows you exactly what we went through to get to our final solution and hopefully a working model to the probem that Jaguar would set us. We would not be alone through this 6 month project, with close support from Mark Weighell, an Engineer from Jaguar Cars and Alyn Owen our supporting teacher for the project. |

The Task: Part Throttle Performance Test Equipment |
The Task: Part Throttle Performance Test Equipment |
Our Engineer, Mark Weighell set us the task to design and implement some 'Part Throttle Test Equipment'. This would have to be a devise that would either attach or fit behind the acceleration pedal of any brand and model of car. This would be to restrict the angle at which the pedal is pressed down. The final implement would hopefully be used to test different cars accelleration at various intervals of the pedal being pressed down. |
