| In the capacity of a photographer/reporter from The Oamaru Mail, I was able to attend the Southern hemisphere premiere of Jurassic Park III in Dunedin, New Zealand. The following are some of the shots I took of the famous guests and celebrities who attended. |

| Left and below: To get things started there was a cocktail party held in the Dunedin Art Gallery in the Octagon. Lead actor (and New Zealander!) Sam Neill personally invited most of the guests. |
| Right: Sam Neill attended the premiere along with his Japanese wife Noriko. She is a make-up artist and met on set of the Australian film Dead Calm. |

| Left: News presenter Simon Dallow was the Variety Club representative and MC at the evening, and undoubtedly the nicest person I met there. He introduced himself to me by saying: "Have we met before?" To which I foolishly replied: "Not that I can remember..."! |
