Above left and right: Soon after arriving in Japan, while visiting Kyushu, we meet Teiji (or "Daisy")
and his wife Hiroko. Daisy introduced me to 'Kakkonto' -a Chinese herb that's
excellent for preventing colds!

Itsuka's father's long-time friend, Matsumoto-san, an actor, has been frequently
generous, including loaning his huge wide-screen TV!

First meeting him in Tama city in 2000, we often spend time with Tom Mita,
