Freeman Parker, Sr, was born March 30, 1892 and was the youngest of six children.  It is believed that he first married at the age of 16, but there is no information on his first wife or her family heritage.  He had one child from his first marriage.  Her name was Royleen.  Freeman later married Johnnie Oscar Wilborn in 1915 around the age of 23.  To this union, thirteen children were born--seven boys and six girls.  These youngsters flourished in a family strong in love and firm in discipline.  

Johnnie Oscar Wilborn was the daughter of Walker & Ella (Brown) Wilbourne.  Johnnie had 4 sisters:  Della, Alma, Mattie, and Alice May.  She married  Freeman Parker Sr in 1915.  To this union, thirteen children were born--seven boys and six girls.
