Stonegate Elementary

Welcome to my class webpage. I am very excited to be teaching another year in fifth grade at Stonegate Elementary. This will be my fourth year teaching fifth grade. I am proud this is my second yearas part of the teaching staff at Stonegate Elementary in West Sacramento, California.

And congratulations to the incoming fifth grade class at Stonegate Elementary School. I am so proud of all of you for doing such a good job in the fourth grade that you were promoted to fifth grade. I enjoy learning and know that if you do not already enjoy learning, maybe you too will soon see that learning can be FUN!

During the first quarter, we will study about Cooperation & Competition in Language Arts. In math, we will review the basics of place value along with addition and subtraction of decimals and whole numbers. In Science, we will begin the year learning about atoms, molecules, matter, & the periodic table. For Social Studies, we begin the year learning about the Native Americans.
