Simpsons and Sound of Thuder
There are many similarities in A Sound of Thunder and The Toaster Episode of
The Simpson�s. The similarities are that if you kill one thing, it can affect the
future in a gigantic way. In a Sound of Thunder, when Eckels kills the butterfly,
it changes the alphabet and the president. When Homer kills the mosquito,
Flanders becomes their new ruler. Some of the differences are that Homer can
go back in time and change what he has done, where in a Sound of Thunder,
you can not go back again and fix what you have done. Another difference is
that Homer accepts that he has changed the world and just deals with it, where
as Travis flips out and shoots Eckels right in the head. It also some how rains
donuts when Homer goes back in time and babies suck on diamond suckers.
