Hello Everyone! -

 

Greetings from Saigon...

 

After spending almost a month here in Vietnam, it's time to move on. I'll be heading to Cambodia tomorrow morning for a quick trip up to Angkor Wat. Spend about a week before getting to Bangkok on the 23rd. We'll be leaving for Kathmandu on the 25th of October.

 

I've had a fantastic time here learning about the country, learning about the war, seeing the beautiful scenery, and just having fun hanging out with new friends. Yesterday was the 8th month anniversary of my departure from the US...4 more to go. It's strange being on the downslope of my year away. I miss everyone terribly but have lots of things to distract me from that miss in my heart. I am definitely looking forward to coming home when February arrives...even if it is in the middle of winter! Argh.

 

I've put most of the photos from Vietnam up (www.ofoto.com login:[email protected] password:corinne) but am missing those from the last few days (Saigon, Mekong Delta). Will get those up when I can.
