If I am new to the Victoria or am thinking its time to start attending "a" church how should I choose one? We believe this is a matter of personal choice that should be supported in prayer. We want to respect you and will not be aggressive in contacting you or pursuing you. When you are ready for some contact from us there are blue cards in the front cover of our hymnals for that purpose. We support not only attending worship together; we also encourage being involved with the people and the ministries of the church as well. If you have questions or concerns please feel free to contact the pastor or anyone else who looks like they are part of the congregation. We would love to welcome you to be a part of the Christian family here.

The hymns provide us a historic christian context with people of exceptional faith and experience. The use of contemporary forms of music integrates our faith into a modern context. Our faith is founded in the past, lived relevantly in the present and oriented to a bright future with God. The worship service is designed to be joyful, uplifting and encouraging in nature.
We believe the Bible provides the basis for all of our faith and practice in the Parkdale Evangelical Free Church. We believe it is God's Word for us and the bedrock for knowing and entering into a relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. We actively study and teach from it within this framework.
It means accepting His forgiveness for our sins and disobedience; it means life, joy, peace, forgiveness, faith, newness, purpose, a fresh start, direction, wholeness; it means finding meaning in our lives; it means a promise of eternal life in heaven; it means allowing Jesus to be master in our lives; it means a life adventure developing our relationship with Him; it also means commitment and discipline to follow Jesus and His teachings.
We are sensitive to the criticism of "being out for money", our goal is for people to give to God cheerfully and willingly. The church is in a stable financial position. While giving is an important part of our worship experience we do not expect those who are visiting to feel any obligation to give.
Pastor Tom is usually in his study at the church Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to noon praying, studying, preparing sermons and doing routine administration. The number is (250) 382-7513.

We love visitors. We want to be sensitive to your needs and will not embarrass or single you out of the crowd. We welcome you.
We have always been part of this group. We work well together in sending and supporting missionaries. We support Trinity Western University and the educational initiatives there. We fellowship with our "Free" churches on the island. The church family can ask for and receive timely advice from our denominational support staff when we need it. It also provides an important support and encouragement network for our pastor.
