Parkdale is located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada on
the corner of Tolmie and Jackson (1095 Tolmie Ave), about 5 blocks
due east of Mayfair Mall (see map).

We are a church with a mission: "The mission of the Parkdale Evangelical Free Church is to encourage and develop (produce) people (a church) with a PASSION FOR GOD and A COMPASSION FOR PEOPLE. Since we are committed to becoming a people with A PASSION FOR GOD, we will focus our energies on WORSHIP and DISCIPLESHIP. Since we are committed to becoming a people with A COMPASSION FOR PEOPLE, we will focus our energies on fellowship and evangelism and being God's agents of His HEALING TOUCH." Our activities and programs are designed with that in mind.
We are also part of a larger family of like-minded churches called the Evangelical Free Church of Canada. While we maintain a great deal of autonomy locally, we cooperate in a wide variety of activities where the combined efforts of a number of congregations accomplish more than we could alone.
The Parkdale Church has been active in Victoria for many years. Our building is dedicated to the glory of God and designed to serve the functional needs of the people and programs. We partner with a group who operate a daycare in the basement. I have been serving as pastor here since September of 2001.
The basic programs of the church revolve around the Sunday Morning Worship time. We believe worship is our appropriate response to God. We believe the Bible needs to be taught so we can know God better. The Bible is the clearest means by which God has revealed Himself to people. There are a number of small informal Bible Study groups meeting through out the week. The groups facilitate prayer, caring and study on a personal level exploring how our faith interacts with our everyday living.
