The Paris Guide
What to do/Where to go for breakfast

Meals to the French are not a hastle, but something enjoyed and experienced. Understand this before eating in Paris. Meals will tend to be more expensive than what you are used to paying. The most important tip that I can give anyone is to honestly enjoy every meal. Each will be special in its own way. Bon appetit!

It should be known that many hotels include some sort of breakfast with the room. I highly recommend taking advantage of this because for the obvious reason: it saves money.  I have found that the quality of food may be less than elsewhere, but maybe consider eating at the hotel a few days and eating out a few days.

If eating at the hotel is not an option, or eating out is the choice you have made for the day, then be sure to have a quintessential Parisien breakfast at least once.

What is the quintessential Parisian breakfast? Well, it is a very simple meal...suprisingly enough. Un café (coffee) is a must.  Typically croissants, pains au chocolat (chocolate-filled pastry), brioches (doughy buns), sometimes oeufs (eggs) and I also love tarts des fruits. Try and find some little café where you can sit outside, enjoy the morning sun, and watch everyone rushing off to work while you eat.
