Ladies and Gentlemen
For your reading pleasure, my experience at the April 13 1999 Stabbing Westward show
My best Brenna and I got there at around 6:30 or so and we see
Christopher chatting with Vera (an ex-girlfriends mother)and by the time we get out of the van, he is gone with the wind.
so I was sad, but we stood around, met a few Stabbing Westward fans that are on the mailing list.
Lacey was there...we met our sophomore year at our school when Lacey read my backpack and screamed STABBING WESTWARD!!! OH MY GOD SOMEONE ELSE HERE LIKES THEM!!!! lol
Anyhow, we hung around when all of a sudden I see Andy and Mark walking toward us. I look at Brenna and go "OH MY GOD!" and as Andy walked by I go "Hi..." and he stopped and chatted and in the excitement of meeting a member of my favorite band of 5 years I called him walter on accident. This was so embarassing and I kept going on and on about how much of a retard I was.
So, when he signed my paper he personalized it for me.
We stood around for a while more. I called to Steve and Brian from Placebo and both of them said they would come talk to me but neither of them did :(
So then I see Jim meandering around so I call him
and I go to take a picture of him standing all the way over by the doors when Brenna goes "Michelle, look" and what happens but Jim is coming to talk to me.

So I once again manage to muster up some words
got my picture taken with him
(Hes so cuddly!)
and got his autographand I inform him that I have a snowglobe for Christopher and hes like "do you wanna wait to give it to him or do you want me to cos I dont know where he is right now...oh wait, there he is! CHRISTOPHER!!!! SHE HAS A SNOWGLOBE FOR YOU!!!!!!"
Brenna was just like "OH MY GOD michelle!" and Christopher RUNS over, leaps over the equipment truck ramp and when he finally gets to me he goes, "I dont collect these anymore."
I was so awestruck by his presence I didnt even manage to say "oh" and he goes "yea the girlfriend I was collecting them for, i broke up with her.....hey! is that a GARGOYLE in there???" and i said "yea" and he goes "oh cool!" So he kept it and i got my picture taken with him (holding his new snowglobe)
I almost passed out from sheer happiness. After waiting 20 minutes for Brian to never show up, we went in:
Flick: SUCKED MY WHITE ASS! ch chch ch chch....ok so hes 15...sounds
like a girl when he talks, thinks hes a Jim Morrison type sex symbol, seeing him lick the microphone was certainly not a highlight. The songs were ok but they were really monotonous. Brenna and I were not impressed at all. We ended starting to scream at them: "YOU SUCK" "GO THROUGH PUBERTY YOU BASTARD!" stuff like that
Placebo: sigh. I love Brian Molko like no one would understand and when he threatened to take it all off...well, lets just say, I was very um, happy. "GET NAKED!!" Anyhow, I knew every song and was very happy with their performance and got a good view of his uh, package and was impressed. He looked at me a couple times but other than a wink (or maybe he just blinked...not sure) I didnt really get his attention, but thats ok...I got some great pictures hehehe
Stabbing Westward: needless to say, they were brilliant. They did my favorite songs that they do live: Save Yourself (i know its the damn radio hit but i love the energy it gives to the live show) and Drugstore. I had to move to the side of the stage and out of the crowd because I got stuck in a testosterone pit and kept getting shoved around so bad I couldnt see anything. Then (ok now this is just TOO damn weird...) Christopher looks over at me and says something to me...and I look at him like "huh?" he laughs and kind of sticks out his tongue and proceeds to introduce the next song...The girl behind me is trying to get my attention but i tell her to wait til the end of the song...so he introduces "ACF" as a song about when you have nothing else to do but lay down and think about the one you love and masturbate til your dick is raw...then during the part "for hours I'll
just stare..." he had come over to the side of the stage and was
looking right at me...I was like...holy SHIT!!!! After the song I talked to the girl behind me and she goes, "DID YOU SEE WHAT HE SAID TO YOU BEFORE THE SONG???!?!?" and I go "I couldnt understand what he said.." she goes "HE SAID, THIS SONG IS FOR YOU." and I was like, "Are you sure he was talking to me?", and she went "YES!!!!!!" So I dont know for sure but if it IS true, then groovy shit!
So after the show we go outside and wait.
Andy comes out first and I get my pic taken with him and I take a pic of him and Lacey in his hat.
Then came Walter...
Lacey and I got our pics taken, i got autographs...
Then came Christopher.
*swoon* This is the best part.
I was taking a pic of him and Lacey after we got our autographs and
she goes,"hey Michelle, should I kiss his cheek?"
and i was like "yea if its cool with him".
so she does and i take the pic and voila!
Then she is taking a pic of me and I kiss him
(the dumbass i am, closed my eyes before I turned my head so it looks
like im sucking his cheek...)
So we are having one last one taken, this one with Lacey and Brenna,
Christopher and me and I ask Christopher to kiss my cheek for that
picture.
I turn my head back and nothing happens so I figure, he didnt hear
me..thats ok.
Then all of a sudden I feel his TONGUE on my cheek!!!!
He licked my cheek up and down like 3 times then he kissed it
AND THEN they took the picture!
Pissed me off, they totally missed it!!
So all you get is the look on my face right after he did it,
but wow, it was totally orgasmic! LOL
Needless to say, it was a great nite!
