The wedding is 12 days away now...

Today my department had a semi-surprise lunch/wedding shower for me.  It was semi-surprise because my friend who was organizing it blew the surprise an hour and a half before the party.  Ooops!  She was trying to invite my fiance, but copied the department email list which includes me.  Oh well, I was surprised at 10:30 instead!  And my fiance couldn't make it, anyway.

It was a nice party--lots of food and a couple of nice gifts.  A very good carrot cake.

I probably should go for a run tonight, especially after a big lunch, but I don't think I will.  <Excuses> It's a little chilly out and my knee is still bothering me from Sunday's shortened run.  Plus I want to go to the tanning salon since I didn't go during lunch. </Excuses>  I will go tomorrow and hopefully I'll be set for Saturday's 10K.
