Pete Sampras has won the maximum number of Grand Slam titles amongst men in the history of Tennis-13. The 13th Grand Slam victory for Pete was the 2000 Wimbledon men's singles title. Its been almost two years since he has won any Grand Slam. In fact he reached the finals of the 2000 US and 2001 US Open Grand Slams but he lost both, to MARAT SAFIN in 2000 and to LLEYTON HEWITT in 2001.He has won 13 Grand Slam men's singles titles out of whch he has won 7 WIMBLEDON, 4 AUSTRALIAN OPEN and 2 US OPEN titles and has yet to win a FRENCH OPEN title.
