C&D Candles
This started out to be just a hobby for myself that has turned into my own business of making candles for others. I use to pay a fortune for candles, I wanted to have one in every room, and have my house smelling great at all times. That can run up into the bucks, paying $16.00 at a discount store to get the highly fragrance candles that I required, a larger room seemed to never have the amount of smell I desired. So one day out of the blue, I decided to try to make my own, I started with just a basic candle kit, a fragrance or two, wax, and a single mold.
It was a tribulation I went through, trial and error, until I could get the results I wanted. Once I found out that "hey, I could do this" I decided to go just a little further, I purchased someone's candle supply that was going out of their own candle making business and that was my new beginning. Since that day, I think I have only been able to make me one or two candles for myself. Not much need when you make candles in your own home, the fragrance is so overwhelming that it flows through out my whole house.
I have just about every type of mold, fragrance, and colors. You want a special kind of mold, if I don't have it, I will get it! I try to keep everyone happy with their desires as I wish I had been able to find someone like that for me, and with a very reasonable cost. I make 16 oz. jar candles (highly fragranced), 22 oz jar candles (highly fragranced), the plastic molds are unable to have a lot of fragrance added due to the fact that it will damage the mold, so I put just enough to have a fragrance to the smell.
On all my jar candles, I add decals to them, if anyone is like me, a little decoration goes a long way, if it's just a nice rose on the front to a scenery of a beach or garden. I have made some pictures of my candles that I have sold already, once people have seen them, they want them, so I have to come up with new and better ideas for the next batch. I have recently acquired a store to put my display in, and I feel as if this is a new beginning for me. Thanks to my family, my husband Cris, son Brandon, daughter Stacy, I am really trying to do my best. The support of your family and friends always help. My son is getting me orders everyday, my daughter is buying from me every week, and my husband is going around and getting me stores to sale my candles in. Without the love and support from all of them, I would not be able to have the confidence in myself and my candles. So thank you all, I love you very much!
