This Explorer model was never popular when in production and therefore has become one of the more collectable Rolexes.
This particular watch however was constructed from original Rolex replacement parts some time after the model was discontinued.
The case number starts #44 which (I am reliably informed) was reserved by Rolex for replacement cases.
Without a single scratch or mark this watch is in factory mint condition.
Neither myself or the first owner has ever worn this watch!
