This game is for horses and humans only.
Cursing is allowed, as long as it isn't constant.
This game is rated atleast PG13 for mature things, you don't have to be 13 to join but be warned.
All posts should be more than just one-liners I would like you to try atleast 100 words per post, it really isn't that much.
Absolutely NO powerplaying or godmoding.
Do not fight out of character. Leave grudges for your charries.
Humans may join as celebritys; just don't let it get out of hand.
Horses may only become mythical by winning a quest, or by having a mythical horse involved in a plot approved by Spork.
Mythical means anything out of the ordinary; wings, horn, immortality, odd-coloring, etc.
Joining
You must be accepted by Spork before posting anywhere other than the ooc boards.
Please fill out all of the necesary info on the joining board.
You may have as many charries as you like as long as you keep them active, if they become unactive quit them, please.
Foals/Children are allowed to join, as long as they are old enough to fend for themselves.
Horses only: Herdless / Claiming
Stallions must have atleast one mare before claiming a land.
Unclaimed mares must go straight to The Oasis or The Marshland.
Mares can not go to a herd they want to join, asking to join; the breeding area, etc.
If a mare does not like the stallion who claimed her, she may fight for freedom or attempt to escape on the stealing board.
More than one stallion may approach a mare at once, but the first to claim her, gets her. Otherwise, she may choose.
Mares MUST go to the stallion that claims her. No exceptions.
Horses only: Breeding Rules
Mares may only be in heat in the breeding season.
Stallions may breed with any mare and vice versa, although, breeding to a mare who belongs to another stallion can result in severe punishment.
If a stallion states no other stallion may breed to his mares, he may kill the foal.
Short breeding and long breeding are both allowed. No one-liners, etc.
Please create a new post after you are done breeding, titles 'Stats Needed' so that Spork can give you your foals stats.
The foal will not be born until the birthing season.
The foals stats will be based on the parents stats.
Stillborns are very rare, but it can happen.
Mares may be injured or killed during the foaling process, it is rare, but true.
Mares might have twins, but rarely ever.
Horses do not have to go to the Beach to breed, but that is where you must post the dam and sire's stats for Spork to give you the stats and due date. If you breed somewhere other than the beach, you must also say in your post where the two bred.
Horses Only: Foaling Rules
Spork is the only ones allowed to give out stats to your foal. YOU do not give stats to your foal.
When giving birth, Mythical parents will give their stats to the foal, usually.
One of the parents will roleplay the foal, if neither want to, put it up on the Auditioning Board.
Horses only: Battling Rules
Stallions may only battle for: Mares, positions, land, fun, life.
Mares battle for: position (excluding lead mare), foals, fun, freedom.
When fighting there is 1 Intro. post per horse, 3 fighting posts per horse; each fighting post consisting of 2 Attacks and One defence.
The horse who challenges the other must post first.
Winners are based on statistics, mythic abilities, and the post.
You may also do a dice challenge, where Spork will roll 5 dice per horse, whoever get's the most point wins. The two must decide on what type of battle before posting.
You may not challenge for anything if the one you are challenging is away or unable to post.
If one of the players has not replied in three days, the challanger recieves whatever he/she was battling for. Yay!
If you lose the battle, you may re-challenge that horse after one real life week.
Horses only: Stealing Rules
You must create a riddle including the stallion's name that you are stealing from, his lands, your lands and the mare's name.
You MUST include your name in the stealing post, but you do not have to include the horses name.
Stallions may steal mares and foals.
Do not directly put in the name of the horse you are stealing in your post.
Mares and stallions block steals, which means that they keep their horse safe.
If the horse you are stealing from does not reply in three days, you receive the horse.
You may only steal once every three days.
Horses only: Escaping
You must create a riddle including the stallion's name that you are escaping from, his lands, and your name.
Do not post your name as the name of the poster, use 'Unknown' or something of that sort.
Mares may escape from stallions.
Do not directly put in the name of the horse you are stealing in your post.
Stallions block escapes.
If the horse you are escaping from does not reply in three days, you are free.
You may only steal once every three days.
You may not escape from a horse who is away.
Horses only: Herds
Only stallions may claim herds.
If the Lead stallion is away, the Lead mare takes over until he gets back.
If the lead stallion dies, the mares must leave the herd land.
If you wish to update your herd, post what needs to be updated on terra updates in ooc.
Stallion heirs take over the land, if they/the stallion want them to, once the lead gives up, is too feeble, or dies.
When a stallion within the herd becomes three, they become a threat to the lead and his throne.
There is only one lead stallion and one lead mare per herd.
The heir must be produced by the lead stallion and lead mare only.
If the lead stallion leaves, dies, or gives up and he has no heir, the land is unclaimed.
That's pretty much it, you should know how to roleplay properly as most of you, I am sure have roleplayed at other sites. If I see anything I don't like I will delete it and add it to the rules.
The most important rule is to have fun, so just do it. hehe. Also, to prove you read these rules, you must include the password 'Earthquake' in your joining post, but make sure it is slightly hidden.
