My dad volunteers as a companion to WWII Vet John W. Finn. On December 7, 1941 on the Naval Air Station in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, Chief Petty Officer John W. Finn, under heavy fire and gravely injured, fought back by manning a 50-caliper machine gun that had been mounted on an instruction stand ina completely exposed section of the parking ramp. He refused to leave until given a direct order to seek medical attention and resumed his post to supervise once he received first aid treatment.

This just gives me goosebumps! Anyways, there's a pic of him then and now.

Thank you so much Luna!!!  I've never even met a Medal of Honor recipient and your own dad is palling around with one!!  WOW!!   Give him a Salute for his service for me!!  I got goosebumps too!!!
