By the end of this unit, students will learn that keeping diary is an effective and meaning way to see themselves.

Topics of Their Diary Entries will be:

[Day 1] Myself

[Day 2] My School, Friends, and Teachers

[Day 3] My Parents/Guardians

[Day 4] My Family

[Day 5] My Neighborhood and Environment

[Day 6] My Love and Boyfriend/Girlfriend

[Day 7] My Heritage/Background

[Day 8] My Dreams and Future

In the second part (4 days), students will be focusing on an entry from their diary to make it into an article for class newsletter. They will be having a short conference individually with the teacher to discuss what to work on and how to make it into an article. They will also be peer-reviewing each other by filling out a revision guide. Students will learn that the audience for their writing will be different this time from the first part.
