Whatever may be your gender, age or
status Open your window, look at the world outside Not simply look at,
observe closely The realities of the 21st century.
A jobless world
looms before us Jobs are dying; works continue to live We are in a
dejobbed economy globally Job famine is a harsh reality.
Computers
have displaced clerks Supervisory posts are becoming superfluous Managers
would be hired as "casual managers" Job is becoming an unviable contract for
employers.
Employer-employee relationship is vanishing
Client-supplier relationship is developing World of business is globally
interlocked "Do a thing where it is economic to do it".
All men are
not equal; they have different capabilities Pay according to
performance Focus on core competencies and outsource other works Develop
culture of high performance.
Tune yourself; flexibility is the 'Mantra'
The key is to think and act like an entrepreneur Become your own master;
you have to look after yourself This is the answer to the menace of
joblessness.
Narayana Murthy, Deshpande, Kanwal Rekhi, Rajinder Pawar
All have done this to become your role model Technology has liberated
'work' from the clutches of 'jobs' You can work without the medium of jobs.
People have needs; and needs create work World population will
always be on the increase Ideas, not goods, are now the engines of economic
growth The fastest growing area will be "self-employment".
Distill
your experiences; see what you are good at You cannot slacken on your
preparedness Jobs will disappear; but plenty of work will be available
You can get adequate returns if you work.
These are a few of the
unpleasant things to come Take note of the signals; focus on your
goals You have to live life; actually breathe it, experience it Generate
new ideas; design your own career.
" Take up one
idea, make that one idea your life- Think it, dream of it, live on that idea-
Be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone This is the
way to success "
