Zero Hour
Zero Hour is a really impressive band coming to us from the U.S. Recently they released their latest musical endeavor that bears the suitable, for their music, title "A Fragile Mind"... So, let's hear out what Jasun answered to our questions concerning the band and their future goals...

1. Please accept my congratulations on the very impressive album that you have released! Can you tell us the very latest news from Zero Hour?
Jasun: The latest news to share with everyone is Zero Hour has a new vocalist with Chris Salinas (Formerly of Power of Omens). The band will have a new release out in 2006 titled "Specs of Pictures Burnt Beyond" and we are very, very excited to get this CD out to everyone.
2. You started the band back in 1993, so can you tell us why you chose this name for the band?
Jasun: We were rehearsing one day and we had to leave because it was getting late and everyone had work the next day. I said man wouldn't be awesome to have never-ending time to music and Troy said Zero Hour. So that's how the name came about and means never-ending time to your dreams.
3. Are you satisfied so far with the progress of the band?
Jasun: We feel stronger than ever with the band and very excited about the future. I wish we didn't have the downtime from The Towers of Avarice to A Fragile Mind but things happen for a reason.
4. Tell us, some details from your latest album "A fragile mind".
Jasun: It's great to have the CD out and have Zero Hour back in the scene. We love doing music and look forward to many more recording and getting back out playing live.
5. As far as the lyrics, what things inspire you?
Jasun: Erik wrote the lyrics for Metamorphosis and The Towers of Avarice. A Fragile Mind was written lyrically by Fred and Troy and unfortunately they’re not present to share their thoughts.
6. If I remember correctly you have participated in the ProgPower Festival. Can you tell us your experiences from that live show?
Jasun: Yeah we played ProgPower Europe 3, ProgPower 1 and 3 USA and all were amazing events. The Progpower Europe show was awesome!! After the third song a large part of the crowd chanted USA-USA-USA and it was probably the best feeling we've ever experienced to this day. I had the biggest smile and you dream about moments like that.
7. So far are you satisfied with the help from Sensory Records?
Jasun: Sensory has been good to Zero Hour and we have a name in the genre because of their help. So we appreciate Ken and Sensory's support.
8. What is your wildest dream for Zero Hour?
Jasun: To do a full blown tour with TOOL!! That would be amazing!
9. Any plans to make some live appearances in Europe?
Jasun: There will be plans in the future for playing out in Europe. Once we have "Specs of Pictures Burnt Beyond". The band looks so forward to supporting the disc and we love playing in Europe.
10. Do you know any bands from the Greek metal scene?
Jasun: I really don't know many bands from Greece and I would love to hear about some great acts out that way. Always into killer new music.
11. Have you got any new tunes ready from the upcoming album?
Jasun: We have a 2 minute clip up on our website www.zerohourweb.com under media. The song is called "Evidence of The Unseen" and please take a listen and let us know your thoughts.
12. Thank you for your time and hope one day to see you in Greece!
Jasun: Thank you for the helping spread the word about Zero Hour. We would love to play in Greece and chat it up with the metal fans that way. METAL!!
