First of all, I'd like
to apologise to Mantak since I made the mistake to think that they come
from Indonesia instead of Malaysia. However, this is the only part that
needed a correction, since the other points remain the same... Mantak is
a true black metal holocaust that is here to bring total annihilation and
devastation...
1.HELLO METAL BROTHERS FROM INDONESIA! SINCE
WE DON’T KNOW MUCH ABOUT YOUR BAND, CAN YOU GIVE US A SHORT BIOGRAPHY AND
PRESENT THE CURRENT LINE-UP?
Firstly,we are not from Indonesia Bro!! We're
hailling from Sabah (East Malaysia)! Why did you think we're hailling from
Indonesia Bro? Haha... The current demoniacs in MANTAK are NAZ (6 BLASPHEMEOUS
STRING and HELL SHRIEKS!!), LEE (4 STRINGS OF BAZZTUBATOR) and HELVETE
(HAMMER OF SIN!) The rest of the bio... it's impossible for me to write
it all in here as it migth take 4 fucking pages away!! Haha.. So, feel

A NEW ALBUM WITH THE TITLE “SABAHELL’S BLASPHEMER”. CAN YOU TELL US WHEN
IT WILL BE OUT IN THE STORES AND HOW IT WILL SOUND?
According to Noktu of DRAKKAR PRODUCTIONS,
the "Sabahell's Blasphemer" album will reach the worlwide black market
this September 2006!!! It is because according to Noktu it's fucking hard
to release something in Europe by summer as most Europeans go on holiday
that time and will not receive many orders from the maniacs! ...and of
course Noktu of Drakkar hate's summer!!! Hahaha..! Mantak's music this
time became faster, more violent, blasphemeous, religious insulting than
the previous recordings!!! Be prepared for much violence and profane hellbums
ever unleashed from Malaysia!!!!!!!!!!
3.MOST BANDS OF EXTREME METAL HAVE CONNECTED THEIR
MUSIC WITH AN IDEOLOGY. IS THERE AN IDEOLOGY BEHIND THE MUSIC AND THE LYRICS
OF MANTAK OR DO YOU DO IT JUST FOR THE PLEASURE OF PLAYING HEAVY METAL?
We don't have any specific ideology in our
fucking band!! That's the fact!!! Mantak is only an extreme metal psycho
band hailling from Malaysia!! We believe in no God, religion or any fucking
rules!!!!! Mostly I'm the one who's handling the lyrics, all the lyrics
are written when my head's totally driven by the migthy drugs and alcohol!!!
All of Mantak's lyrics are based on our true emotional hatred towards our
enemy and The Helltivities done by us in here!!! For me, lyrics are definetly
an important thing in our band as they can create a true feeling when we're
playing our own song!! The same goes to music!!!
4.AH, I FORGOT, YOUR NAME IS QUITE BIZARRE. HOW
DID YOU CHOOSE IT AND WHAT’S ITS MEANING?
We got the name from my old partner in Crime
namely Awang in 1996, he told us the meaning of MANTAK and we thought it
was very suitable for our concept and chose to take that fucking name!!!
By the way, we also believe that there's no other band in this fucking
planet using the same moniker! We hate to change the band's name many times!

5.EVERY MUSICIAN WHEN STARTS TO PLAY MUSIC HAS
SOME BANDS THAT HAVE INFLUENCED HIM/HER. WHICH ARE THE BANDS THAT
HAVE INFLUENCED YOU AND PLEASE NAME 5 OF YOUR ALL TIME FAVORITE ALBUMS.
I can say Iron Maiden, Venom and old- Sodom...
We've got no specific influences actually cause when I'm creating music
for Mantak I never listen to any bands in the whole day! But we can't deny
that those 3 mentioned bands really reflect on MANTAK'S hymsn! Wow! It's
hard to answer Bro,as I got many favourite all time albums!! Hahaha...
But here's the top 5 which I can't bored listening although play I play
it in my player every fucking day!!!

6.I HAVE NOTICED THAT BANDS THAT COME FROM POOR
COUNTRIES CHOOSE TO PLAY MAINLY EXTREME METAL MUSIC. CAN YOU EXPLAIN WHY
THIS IS HAPPENING? MAYBE BECAUSE IT’S A “HEALTHY” WAY TO CHANNEL YOUR RAGE?
We're hailling from a wealthy country Malaysia,
but still we face some problems as our currency is still below the USA
dollar... But still far much better compared to Indonesia... Yes, I've
got so many friends in Indonesia and I can see the problems they face!
It's a shame cause Indonesia has got a lot of great band!!! Especially
in the death metal scene!!

movement have totally banned every Metal show in Malaysia cause by the
stupid lying article and propaganda made by the shitty low minded local
Media!!!!!!! It's totally like living in hell for all the Malaysian Extreme
metal maniacs these day!!!! Hopefully someday all these shitty problems
can slowly vanish and the Malaysian Metal scene can back to normal again.

It's very simple Bro.... SABAH is the state
name we're livin now (located in East Malaysia, North Borneo). We only
put the word "Hell's" in the word, so the meaning is of course MANTAK ARE
THE "SABAHELL'S BLASPHEMER!!(The blasphemers from SABAH!).
11.THE INDONESIAN METAL SCENE IS NOT SO KNOWN
