I love compliments, don't get me wrong. I just don't like it when I first meet someone and they shower me with, "You're so unique", "You're so beautiful", "You are very special" and etc. A simple "You look nice in that picture" or "You seem very nice because you to care a lot" would work fine. Unless you are wonderful with words or I start complimenting you. Do you see the difference? Truth is, the examples of the ones I don't like, I don't like because they make me feel uncomfortable. I know these people that do this are trying to compliment me but they are making me want to run away and never talk to them again. I know that sometimes it makes them feel better as well but this problem could be easily solved for both of us by a simple re-wording of a phrase.
I have had several situations where I have been taken advantage of so if I seem standoffish, it's because I don't know you yet and I am affraid to let my guard down. If you truly like and respect me, you will understand. I am not afraid to admit that these things have happened to me and I'm not even afraid to meet new people but just keep in mind to give me time to warm up to you. Don't tell me that it's alright to trust you or anything like that, I'll leave it up to myself to judge that.
I don't understand why people type like "i raly lik u. want 2 fuk?" Is it so hard to capitalize letters that require to be capitalized, use a little punctuation, or to type out simple words such as "you"? If you are so lazy you can't even type out "you", it makes me wonder what kind of person you are. It's not like it makes you significantly faster at typing. I understand spelling mistakes or if you aren't perfect with your grammar but at least make it seem like you are trying.
Don't try to change me. I like who I am and if I want to change, I will. You can discuss views with me or even tell me your opinion but don't expect me to change just because it's your view/opinon. I might consider changing if I agree with your reasoning, so, don't think I'm a pain in the ass, close minded idiot, and a fool. Well, I am a pain in the ass but that's besides the point.
How I got into the medical field and a job I recently had that basically made me a secret agent for a union tie in together. If you want to know more, message me. I wn't go into too much depth on here. A matter of fact, that is all I'll say on here. I won't have to kill you if I tell you but I won't tell you waht union it was.
Learning...learning is a passion of mine. Don't stick me in a classroom setting though, I don't like them much. Sticking me on the computer in from of wikipedia.org would do you better. I love wiki very much. I love learning about anything and everything. I love history, science, math, art, cultures, and etc. This does NOT make me good at them. I love learning everything I can about a person. If you talk about yourself constantly, as long as it's interesting, I will be very happy. I love learning people's history, opinions, the way they work, and etc. I learn by sharing things about myself with others as well. I like it when people can learn from me even if it's to learn they don't agree with me at all. I can learn from everything around me. The small things count as well. I just looked at a box and it has a flower on it. I learned the box has a flower on it. Learning something makes me feel like I accomplished something. If I were born and then died right after exiting the canal, at least I still learned a lot. Maybe to you it's not so much but every piece of knowledge is precious. Knowledge is a beautiful as a piece of art and IS a piece of art of its own kind. If you start talking about things that I don't know about but you talking in a passion, in an understanding tone, in a way that I might understand you, you might actually make me blush.
Communication is so important to me. I realize that miscommunications are one of the biggest causes for fighting, pain, and everything else like that. Communication is as important to me as learning. This whole time I've been typing, everything I have wrote, has been an attempt to communicate. I don't care if we get along, I just want the communiation there so we can get the message across. We could be complete opposites but as long as we are able to communicate our differences, I am happy. If I'm in a relationship, if there is no communication, I feel empty, hurt, angry, betrayed, and everything else you can think of. It's a horrible feeling. It's not the need to have someone. I would be happy living in the woods with no other human contact. The need is to communicate with people if there is another person around. If you hear me say "I don't understand", I want to know what you are talking about, I want to know why, and etc. "I don't understand" is another way of me saying "Please explain. Please teach me." If there is no communication, I don't want to run away, I want to run towards them and get them to explain, to get them to communicate with me. The only way I will turn my back is if there's no communication and if the other person refuses to communicate. I'll do a lot to get someone to communicate. If someone can only communicate in verbal communication but I can only communicate through written communication, I will literally listen to them and then write my opinion. If they still don't understand, I will read them exactly what I wrote. Another way to look at it is they can't understand unless everything is verbal and I can understand through listening but I can't say what I want so I have to write it. They can't understand what I write so I writ ewhat I feel and then read it to them. Same goes for any other situation. Myself, I can't express my feelings verbally well, I have to write them or express physically what I feel. I can, however, understand others verbally and written...body language can go either way.
One thing you'll notice about me is that I have no problem speaking my mind. It end to let people know exactly what I'm feeling. You'll especially know if I'm not happy because I don't like being unhappy so I try to correct that as quickly as possible. I tend to give my opinion on a lot of things so if you don't want opinions, you better not write anything I can see. I may support you or I may ask you a billion questions because I don't understand your views but either way I will make MY opinion clear.
I can be very self-centered. I try not to be but sometimes that's just how it works out in the end. Maybe I'm just self-aware?
I pride myself in being very open minded. I hold very few opinions against people. I love hearing new views and learning from them. I don't hold people's past against them. I've met some people where they had some very bad history but that's all it was, history. If your history repeats into the present, I may not be so kind. Maybe I won't hold you history against you and/or your present because I understand different people have different views...depending on what they history is. If you share your history with me, chances are that I will understand unless my own morals go against it. If you are a different religion than me, that's fine, just don't push your ideas onto me. I don't care what race you are either. I've gone out with or have been involved wirh many people of indfferent races. If you think a cup cake created the universe, well, cheers to you. If you are gay or don't like being hit on by the same gender, I understand. Don't ask me what my views are. DO ask me specific questions that aren't too broad.
In high school, I loved drama...as in acting. I don't get stage fright and I'm not afraid of talking in front of an audience. However, it is easier if I'm not distracted by the crowd, thus, why blinding stage lights are good. I wouldn't say that I'm a pro, however, I could lie about something and if I was really trying to lie, you most likely wouldn't be able to tell. (Keep in mind, just because I'm good at something doesn't mean I'll act on it...such as lying) If I really want to be someone that I'm not, I can easily become that person. (Something I wouldn't do unless it was for entertainment purposes or job related situations) I can cry and turn my face red as will. No, don't even have to picture something negative. I do it just like I blink. I don't tell myself to blink, it's just something I do. Oh, if I'm upset and you tell me I look like I'm about to cry, I WILL cry. If you tell me I'm turning red, I WILL turn red. If you wouldn't have said anything, I wouldn't have started crying or turning red most likely.
I know a little about computers. I don't know what things are called, I just know what I'm doing. I know stuff about computer hardware and software. I don't program or anything at all. I can do some HTML if I'm not being lazy. I'm a pro at MS Word. I have built a computer or two. I know how to install an OS.
I watch anime and read manga. Since my parents don't care for either, my knowledge in them is very little. I like a few animes such as Naruto, Pert Shop of Horrors, My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Excel Saga, FLCL, Hellsing and etc. As for manga I like, Pet Shop of Horrors, Love Hina, Mars, and etc
Video games!!!!!! I love console video games! I have a NES (old and remake), SNES, Sega CD, Sega Genesis, Dreamcast, N64, Game Cube, PS1 with a LCD screen, slim PS2, gamegear, DS Lite, and a PSP. I think I listed them all. My favorite system is the SNES. My favorite game is Chrono Trigger (American version) for the SNES. I like Chrono Trigger a bit too much. I talk about it a lot and I play it almost as much. Of course, my game playing interest isn't limited to Chrono Trigger. I love f-zero (all of them), Zelda: A Link to the Past, Boy and his Blob, Mario Kart (all of them), Dark Stalkers 3, Night Shade, and all kinds of other games. I don't care for first person shooters or sports. I love RPGs, racing (old school style like f-zero), adventure, puzzle and etc. Now, it may sound like I play video games A LOT but actually, I don't play them too ofter. I read a lot more than I play video games.
