Clothes:  skirts over jeans, shirts w/ grommets in designs (belts with grommets are passe), monogrammed stuff, high maintenence hair, cool watches that talk to you, buddy holly glasses (are these ever gonna go out of style?!)

Music:  obscure eighties new wave and the eighties new wave revival a la the faint and figurine.

Food:  cigarrettes

Drink:  scotch on the rocks

Books:  Sylvia Plath and *serious* typography books

Away Messages:  stealing other people's away messages  (ex: at blackwatch for the weekend!  wish me luck!)

Behaviors and Attitudes:  suburban white kids appropriating old urban trends...trying to tap into the 'coolness,' 'danger' and 'taboo' of the hip-hop culture by listening to rap, etc.; thinking the strokes are too mainstream, but secretely liking them (c'mon...you know they're catchy as hell);  poor hygene; being friends with people so that you can use them for their hook-ups (aka exploiting people); the schuklyll river; spending all your money on cds and dust; having insomnia; going eighties dancing to above mentioned obscure eighties new wave music;  making spit bubbles
