Ancient Free and Accepted Masons (Blue Lodge) The working tools as used in the US jurisdictions are the 24" gauge(ruler), common gavel, plumb, square, level, and trowel.  European lodges also use the skreet(fulcrum), pencil, chisel, compasses, and line depending on jurisdiction.  The receiving tools are the square, compasses, and either a short dagger, trowl, or chisel (depending of jurisdiction).  Each of theses "tools" has a ritual application and is so used to impart a particular moral, or philosohical lesson.

Free Gardeners : Insignia would depict Adam and Eve, Eden, Noah's Ark and the Rainbow or the letters PGHE (the rivers of Eden) and ANS (the three degrees of gardening).  Orders include the Thistle Order of Free Garderners, St. Andrews Order of Free Gardeners and the British Order of Free Gardeners.  These orders originated in Scotland pre-1676.
AOC American Order of Clansmen. Not associated with KKK, started as a patriotic/benevolent secret order in San Francisco around 1950-20 and (like most other groups) later became an insurance benefit society.  Membership was restricted to English-speaking white males.
