Changes in Fares or Rules
In case of any change (including changes due to an altered conversion
rate) in fares, or new rules, effective between the day the ticket is
issued and the day of commencement of travel, the passenger is
required to pay the difference in the fare or he will be refunded such
difference, as the case may be. A contract of carriage (ticket) is
therefore subject at all times to a change in fares, charges or rules
between the time it is purchased and the day of departure.
Validity of Tickets
The ticket is valid 3 months from the date of commencement of flight
on the first sector of the whole journey. When booking or changing
reservations, it is necessary to advise the airline or travel agent of
the special fare. Failure to do so may result in inconvenience and
additional cost to the passenger.
Sequence of Flight Coupons
Flight coupons shall be honored only in sequence as shown on the
passenger coupons. Such flight coupon(s) shall not be accepted for
carriage, exchange or refund and are not valid unless accompanied by
the passenger coupon. The use of a flight coupon renders all unused
preceding flight coupons invalid, and a flight coupon may not be
honored for carriage if it appears that a succeeding flight coupon has
already been used.
Children and Infants
Infants under two years of age not occupying a separate seat are
carried at 10 percent of the adult fare and have no free baggage
allowance. Children between 2 and 12 years of age pay 60 or 70 percent
of the adult fare depending on route and fare type. They have the
right to their own seat and to full free baggage allowance.
Weight System for Baggage
The free baggage allowance for checked and unchecked baggage is 20 kg.
The excess baggage can be carried in the same aircraft if the
necessary space is available or has been reserved in advance. In
addition to the above free baggage allowance, each passenger may carry
in the aircraft cabin the following articles free of charge: lady's
handbag, overcoat, blanket, umbrella or walking stick, reasonable
amount of reading matter for the flight, infant's carrying basket and
fully collapsible invalid's wheelchair and/or any medical aid on which
the passenger is dependent.
The unchecked articles are carried under the care and responsibility
of the passenger. A baggage claim tag is issued to the passenger as
confirmation of receipt for the transportation of the checked baggage.
Prior to check-in, each piece of baggage should be clearly marked with
your permanent or temporary address-both inside and outside. The name
on the bag must be the same as that on the passenger's ticket. Baggage
should be properly locked to avoid its opening during carriage.
Carrier will not be liable for baggage not collected immediately upon
arrival.
Restricted Articles
Dangerous goods and articles can be carried only subject to special
conditions. For safety reasons, articles or materials which are
dangerous or subject to special transport conditions may be carried
only under carrier approval.
These regulations apply principally to: compressed gases
(flammable/non-flammable), corrosive materials, explosives,
ammunition, weapons, easy flammable materials, oxidizing materials,
magnetized materials, radioactive materials and other materials as
listed in the IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations. Sporting and hunting
weapons can only be accepted as registered baggage. Weapons must be
unloaded with safety catch engaged and must be suitably packed.
Transporting Sick Passengers
Sick and invalid passengers and expectant mothers can be transported
only when all conditions stipulated by the carrier are complied with.
Passports, Visas and Health Regulations
Both Paramount Airlines and travel agencies will be pleased to give
detailed information concerning passports, visas, health and/or other
regulations. Nevertheless, they cannot accept responsibility for
passengers being improperly or insufficiently documented. Without
proper passport, visa and health documentation as required by
countries of exit, transit and entry, the passenger may not be
accepted for transportation.
Airport Taxes
At many airports, an airport tax in cash is collected from passengers
prior to departure.
Reservations and confirmations
We advice you to book a seat in advance at any agency of the airline.
As you arrive at the final or a transit point of your travel where you
are going to stop, you should confirm your further flight at an agency
or a representative office no less than 72 hours. Otherwise your
reservation may be cancelled.
Travel documents
The passenger must observe all laws, regulations, rules and
instructions of the authorities of any country from, to or through
which he or she will travel, cornering passport, customs, currency,
sanitary, quarantine control and other formalities. As you are going
to make an air trip, do not forget to take with you your passport,
visa and other documents necessary to enter the country.
Check-in
Do not forget to find out about the check-in time as you buy your
ticket, otherwise you may turn up late and the airline has the right
to dispose of your seat at its own discretion.
