Xtra: Yukari, sometimes known as Caroline or Carrie, is the main character of Paradise Kiss. She was just your average school girl (granted a bit studious) getting ready for college before she was discovered by Arashi and the Paradise members. She was going to go to college because it was expected, because if she didn't she would be a no body, but George and the others opened her eyes. They showed her that liking, loving what you do is possible and that's one of the many reasons she decides to model for Paradise Kiss. She had a crush on Hiroyuki Tokumori, a classmate. BUT shows her feelings for George at the end of the first book *wink, wink*.

Family: Yukari's dad is a business man stationed away on business and her mom seems to be kind of the "stay at home" type. I'm not sure if she really has a 9 to 5 job or not. Her mom is very demanding, I guess you could say. She never really thought about what Yukari wanted so just pushed her to do well in school but wasn't very supportive or understanding when she didn't do well. It's hard to explain, you'd have to read it and get your own opinion. In book 3 Yukari flashes back and you get the family history, and you can see that all Yukari wanted was to be accepted by her mother but it was like nothing was ever quite good enough. Anyway, she also has a younger brother, Suguru. Her mom's name is Tomoko.
