why?

I chose "Splendiferous" for the new name because I felt I needed something to make the site stand out more [and because it's a damn cool word!]. Half the battle is getting your visitors to visit in the first place and I thought a new name might stand out better in a list of links. Especially since all these new English sites are popping up every where!!  I swear they snuck up on me while my back was turned!

How did I come up with the name? In book 2 George told Isabella that s/he looked "splendid." I had already begun thinking about an Isabella layout so I was leaning toward something related to him. I also don't like long titles so I wanted one word. [As you can see I have no objections to a semi-long word for a title...] I picked up a Webster's Intermediate Dictionary [that's all my Science teacher had in his room] looked up "splendid" and the rest is history! I hope the meaning rubs off on the site!! ^^;;

I was also considering "Fabulosity" [from an episode of Surprise by Design, a decorating show (do show titles get underlined?)] and "Splendere" [the Latin root for "splendid" it literally means "to shine," I was taking Latin @ the time...] Well, in case any of you cared, that's the story!
