The
story began in 1980 in Mexico City, where million of people
dreamt with a better life that someboby had, meanwhile others
cried, and were hurt by something or someone lost. In the
D'Ruby's cabaret, lives Salomé, she is the principal dancer
of the famous show. Her beauty and sexiness, makes that the
audience loves her. Salomé and Karicia are closer friends.
They together in good and in bad times. Yolanda, the owner of
the cabaret, who in her young years was the "Queen of the
Night". She is the soul and the motor of the cabaret. In
the staring room, is the Salomé's favourite place. Behind the
lights, feathers, and sofiticated dresses, her life seems like
never ending party, but it isn't like that. She found in the
dancing a way of understand the life and challenge the past.
She has an emotional fight, that never ends, since she was
left by her parents when she was a little girl.
"El Figurin" is the handsome man. He is violent,
macho, and loves Salomé, but she broke up the relationship.
Near the cabaret lives Hipolito. He is the plumer, but the
lazyness person. Marta, his wife. She wants a better life and
she feels that her marriage is falling down. With them also
lives Piro, Marta's brother, who is like Hipolito spends the
time playing and joking. Lola sells unlegal products with
"El Figurin", who controls one band. She fell in
love of David, who has a secret which is the ruin of Lola. In
another part of the city, in a mansion of the family Montesino
lives Julio and Angela, his wife. She is sick and her husband
faces with the problems and carries patiently the marriage
which has already cracked. Lucrecia, Julio's mother, thinks
that Angela for being sterile represents an obstacle for the
family.
Arturo, Lucrecia's husband, is devoted, loving and careful
man. He accepts with the feminine force of Lucrecia, he
prefers not to enter in conflicts with her. He is a
comprehensive father. Manola is a strong woman, the servant on
the Montesino's mansion. She has dedicated her life to the
service of the family. Diego, Angela's cousin, also lives in
the Montesino's house. He is a constant client of the cabaret
D'Ruby. Once, having drunk a lot of alcohol, Diego comes to
the mansion accompanied by Salomé and Karicia. Nobody didn't
know, that Salomé would meet her first real, but forbidden
love. A look, a kiss and they won't be able to be left. Salomé
will have to face with painful situations. Salomé is simply a
woman who sincery loves Julio. He is the man of her dreams,
but she came very late to his life...
