This
is the story of Cristina Carvajal, a woman, that has been in
jail, wrongly accused of the murder of her husband. Her
children, 15 and 11 years old, are in favor of the relatives
of her deceased husband, whom they don't love and know nothing
about their mother. After the prison, she begins to work as a
maid in the house of her attorney, Jose Armando, who is
married to a woman ill with a lethal disease, and Crisitina
takes care of her practically all her time. Jose Armando
gradually begins to fall in love with Cristina, but she is
more interested in getting back her children. The struggle
becomes very hard, because her children think that she is dead
and that she is the one who is responsible for the death of
their father...
