Lucero
(the full name Lucero Hogaza) was born on the 29 of August in
1969, in Mexico. Her mother, dona Lucero Leon, always has
known how to handle Lucero's career, obtaining, as a result,
the Lucero of Mexico that we see at this time. Lucero's father
- don Antonio. Little Lucero always wanted to be an actress
and a singer. And her dream became the reality. The first
important Lucero's work on television was telenovela "Chispita".
Lucero was 13 years old that time. She acted in
"Chispita" with Angelica Aragon and Enrique Lizalde.
Soon, she recorded her first CD. It was very popular. Since
that time Lucero Hogaza became for people simply Lucero. Soon,
she made her first movies, with Pedro Fernandez, which were
called "Coquetta" and "Delinquente".
After a few years, Lucero participated in another film next to
the famous singer, Luis Miguel, called "Fiebre de
amor".
In 1990, Lucero acted in her second telenovela called "Cuando
llega el amor" with Omar Fierro. That time Lucero was
a great star in Mexico. Later came her new film, with her
husband (nowdays), Manuel Mijares, called "Escapate
conmigo". After this film was another called "Quisiera
ser hombre". In that picture Lucero acted with
Guillermo Capetillo. Her third soap opera was "Los
parientes pobres" with Ernesto Laguardia and Chantal
Andere. In 1995 Lucero played in her fourth telenovela called "Lazos
de amor", where she interpreted three triplets. It
was the great event, when in 1997 Lucero married on Manuel
Mijares. Of course, he is much older than she. In 2000 Lucero
acted in her new telenovela called "Mi destino eres
tu" next to Jorge Salinas and Jaime Camil. And in
2001 Lucero was called the best actress (in "Mi destino
eres tu"). In the middle of the April, Lucero has
declared that she'll be a mother of Mijares's baby. And on the
12nd of November Lucero has gave birth to a beautiful boy.
