Lorena, a
high school student whose mother is a teacher, a just lost her
father when she met Juan Carlos whose mother is a canteen
owner. But love doesn't come to them easily because of Tania
Vidal, a spoiled irritating girl, who also loves Juan Carlos. Tania
has always hated Lorena out of envy. At first, that evil girl
takes away Lorena's boyfriend, Mariano. But Tania doesn't love
Mariano; she just wants to see Lorena suffer. Tania's real
love is Juan Carlos.
Initially,
Juan Carlos is blind; he can't see the true Tania. But later,
he thinks that Tania is just playing with his heart when he
sees her kiss Mariano. Juan Carlos then dates Lorena. Lorena
doesn't like Juan Carlos too much, but later she really falls
in love with him. Although Tania always tries to screw up
Lorena's life, Lorena doesn't know how evil her 'best friend'
is. The tragedy in Toluca changes their life greatly, with the
death of Mariano. Tania is successful in tricking Lorena into
believing that Juan Carlos is an unfaithful guy.
Meanwhile, Juan Carlos has to go to prison, accused of having
killed Mariano accidentally because of his carelessness.
Besides the
love story between Lorena and Juan Carlos, there are also some
other stories, revolving around Lorena's friends: Paulina,
Fernanda, and Daniella. Those girls even form a soccer league.
Love, deceit, jealousy, friendship are all around them. In the
last episode (110th episode) Juan Carlos and Lorena both tie
their love forever with a baloon of hope.
