Juan
Soler Born
in January 19th 1966, Juan Soler Valls-Quiroga is one of the
Argentinian actors that has been successful in following Saul
Lizaso's foot steps. In fact, he was acting side by side with
Saul in Bajo Un Mismo Rostro and Acapulco, Cuerpo y
Alma; both in 1995. Just like Saul, Juan Soler whose
height is 1.82 metres (6'1") was once an athelete. When
he was still 14 years old, Juan Soler represented his country
in swimming in Juegos Sudamericanos (a kind of Latin version
of Asian Games). A year afterwards, he became a rugby athelete
and helped his team in competing against Australian, British,
Italian, and Russian teams. Sport was still his world until he
turned 21.
This
motorcycle lover then moved on to modelling and acting world.
By luck, he got minor roles in Argentinian acting world.
Feeling that he wouldn't be successful in his own country,
Juan Soler took a big step. He decided to move to Mexico in
1991, the telenovelas' 'Hollywood'. Realizing that it wouldn't
be easy, he prepared himself in 3 years by taking up acting
class and learning how to change his accent. Looking
back, Juan Soler almost died twice. The first one when he was
still 9 years old kid. Juan Soler almost died, falling down
from 3rd floor when he was playing near the window. Luckily he
was saved by bushes. The second time happened a year
before he trie dhis luck in Mexico. At that time, he was
riding his motorcycle 120km/hour from Mexico to Acapulco. WIth
his adeptness, he managed to avoid major wounds. He indeed
often has bike accident; 5 times. In
1995, Televisa offered him contract to act with Saul Lizaso.
Juan, of course, took it, and it was his debut in Mexican
telenovela. But the public still hadn't recognized him, not
until he acted in Canaveral de Pasiones in the
following year. But it was Angela that lifted up his
name. Afterwards, Juan Soler got the ooportunity to go to Peru
and acted as Coraima Torres' boyfriend in Maria Emilia:
Querida. He admitted that he was amazed with his own
character in that telenovela, Alejandro Aguirre. Both of them
don't liek to get tied to a woman, but they both like to
collect women. Whle shooting Acapulco, Curpo y Alma,
Juan dated one of the actresses, Karla Alvarez. A year later,
rumours said that Juan was madly in love with Aracely
Arambula. Several times, they were caught kissing each other.
While acting in Pueblo Chico, Infierno Grande, Adriana
Fonseca fell into his arms. Marsol Santacruz said that Juan
was her lover, but Juan denied it. Other Juan's girlfriend was
Edna Robledo, a ballet dancer.
But
there was one incident that had smeared his image. When he
hadn't obtained the successfullness he wanted in Mexico, he
came back to his hometown in ARgentina, Tucuman. There he fell
in love witha girl named Karina. Juan then went back to
Mexico without knowing that Karina was pregnant. Two years
later, Juan returned to visit his family. At that time, he
knew that he has a daughter named Valentina. |
