Established in 1973 by Government of India, IIMB is one of the top rated business schools. It is Ranked 5th best business school in Asia, by Asiaweek most recently. IIMB has Post graduate and Doctorate programs in management:

 

PGP

The two-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) is the flagship programme of the Institute and is equivalent to an MBA. It is designed to enable students to acquire the skills and capabilities that will enable them to reach responsible Global positions in management.

 

PGSM           

The Post-Graduate Program in Software Enterprise Management (PGSM) is designed for the professionals working in the Indian Software Industry.

 

FPM           

The Fellow Programme is the doctoral-level Programme of the Institute recognised as equivalent to Ph.D. by the Association of Indian Universities and the Government of India [Official Recognition Letter]. The first Fellow of IIMB graduated in 1980.

 

 

     IIMB has more than 80 Faculty members.

They are drawn from among the best minds in the country, especially in the fields of Strategy, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Marketing and Operations, and share among themselves a wealth of industry experience.

 

 

     IIMB has partnered with

·        Sloan, to design and conduct a program on Globalization, Technology and Management of Change. Wharton, with has invited two of our faculty

·        Wharton, to conduct a workshop on "Entrepreneurship and Globalization in India"

·        Tech School at Dartmouth

·        University of Buckingham to develop Action Learning programs for the Growth of SME

 

 

     IIMB has exchange programs with

·        Anderson (UCLA), London Business School, University of Washington, YORK, McGill, Melbourne Business School, WHU, St Gallens, etc.

 

Strengthening its international exposure and focus IIMB is participating in ALP program along with Lancester, McGill and Insead.
