Capítulo local da organização internacional Companheiros das Américas (Partners of the Americas), é entidade sem fins lucrativos que, através do intercâmbio entre membros afiliados do Pará-Brasil e do Missouri-EUA, possibilita que comunidades dos dois estados troquem experiências em diversas áreas do conhecimento, visando contribuir para a melhoria de seus padrões de desenvolvimento e promover a divulgação de seus padrões culturais.

Seus membros são pessoas destacadas na sociedade e prestaram, no período de janeiro a dezembro de 2008 48.493 horas de trabalho totalmente gratuito tendo sempre em mente o bem-comum e o pleno desenvolvimento da comunidade tanto do Pará como do Missouri.

Local chapter of the international organization “Companheiros das Américas” (Partners of the Americas), is entity without lucrative ends that, through the interchange between affiliated members of Pará-Brazil and Missouri-U.S.A., it makes possible that communities of the two states change experiences in diverse areas of the knowledge, aiming at to contribute for the improvement of its standards of development and to promote the spreading of its cultural standards.

Its members are people detached in the society and had given, the period of January the December of 2008 48,493 total gratuitous working hours having always in mind well-common and the full development of the community in such a way of Pará as of the Missouri.
