This is our official symbol , all over the world .

SALUFA in Greek means jellyfish  . That 's why our symbol is a jellyfish .

A jellyfish ! That's what we are trying to save !!!

What is SALUFA A.E. after all ?

SALUFA A.E. is an organization founded  in 1988 . Five young guys from different cities in Greece met , by chance , in St. Panteleimonas (Greece) . The only common thing they had was their love for the sea and the jellyfish . So , they decided to found this organization and help the jellyfish become popular . In 1988 , the company had only one small boat of 25 persons ! Today SALUFA A.E. owns 127 ships , under the Greek flag , and 3 submarines , under the U.S. flag !!!

Our company's target is to help all the jellyfish on earth to survive . Especially some kinds in the Caribbean sea are in great danger and our job there is very difficult . SALUFA is not always welcome . Some people think that jellyfish are very dangerous and they would do anything , in order to  prevent us from saving this wonderful animal .

A recent example : In 1998 , SALUFA members using our boat named Jellylover , tried to help a giant jellyfish (salvius gorpus is the scientific name) that was trapped in a shipwreck in the Aegean Sea . Some guys from the Turkish government tried to sink our ship , because they think that jellyfish can be a great dangerous to  the tourism of their country !!! Nevertheless , our courageous crew ignored them and now this great jellyfish (we named her : Sula) is free and happy .

As any giant organization that respects itself , SALUFA , has an official song :

SALUFA 's targets :                      

1. First of all , we will try to save all the endangered jellyfish species , all over the world . This can only be done if all of you help us , in any way . 

2. By 2010 , we will have discovered the lost treasure of Alexander the Great , which was lost in Greece , just before his death . For this purpose , SALUFA has hired some great archeologists and has also bought 5 brand new ships .

3. By the end of the next year , SALUFA will try to have more than 5,000,000 members from every country of the world . Today our members reach the number of 3,550,000 !!!

4. SALUFA is , at this time , trying to become the first environmental organization that enters the New York stock market .

5. By the year 2009 , SALUFA will have offices in every country of Europe and in almost every country of the rest world .

THE FIVE YOUNG GUYS THAT STARTED THIS WHOLE THING . . .

Alessandro Giusti : Our President ! ! ! He is the one that named our company and he is President of our company for life . He controls this giant organization from our central offices in Larissa (Greece) . The central building is a skyscraper with 189 floors and 946 offices . Tassotti Weiss : The Vice-President . Tassotti is responsible for SALUFA in Europe . He is the president of our offices in Amsterdam (Netherlands) . These offices are in a building of 28 floors and 253 offices . 

Giannis Sterpis : The public-relations guy . He is the president of our offices in New York (USA) . The building , in which theses offices are , is owned by SALUFA A.E. and has 170 floors and 789 offices . Nevertheless , it is almost impossible to find Giannis at his office , that's why he is responsible for the public relations of our company !

Giannis Arvanitis  : Responsible for the Italian SALUFA and the SALUFA in Africa . He is the president of our offices in Venice (ITALY) . The building has 22 floors and 197 offices . He is also president of our offices in Cape Town (South Africa) . 

Giorgos Tsatsaris : The Cashier . He is the president of our offices in Tokyo (Japan) . The building has 128 floors and 897 offices and its the most luxury one . He is our cashier because he can remember everything very easily !

There is also a very important person , that helped us extend our company . His name is Pantelis Sfetsas .Pantelis is studying electrology and he is the technical director of SALUFA A.E. He lives in Larissa and loves paidakia . . .
