Letter to the Jewish Reading Public

The Shattered Mirror calls for tolerance, not imitation. (See my chapter titled “Reb Nicodemus.”)

We, the Chosen People, have been honored and blessed by the miracle-phenomenon of Matan Torah (the giving of the Torah). The rest of G–d’s children, who did not witness this connection, found belief in G–d inconceivable, so gods were created. The ill and elderly were abandoned until we offered them a simplified version of the Torah via our Gift to them of a Jewish Man who led them to HaShem through Himself.

Through the evil perfidy of Pontius Pilate, the Roman procurator who protected his vast idolatrous Empire by creating the Jewish Scapegoat (see my chapter “The Trial”), massive bloodshed during the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, pogroms throughout the centuries and other atrocities, resulting in the Holocaust itself, ensued.

The Shattered Mirror is designed to put an end to anti-Semitism — active or passive — and to replace it with repentance and appreciation for the wonderful Gift that we have given to the Christian world, of a Jewish Man who sacrificed His Life for them to teach them Love — which is the main component of peace and survival.
