History of Paper Mario Social

So, let's start...I'll fill in as much as I can, hopefully Wil, Steven, Jake and Jonathan can help more.

February 2001:
Arrivals: Everyone from the beginning (Jacehan, Willis, ZZTMan, Yazzyguy, Shy Guy 007, Dark Penguin, Doodler4, www354com, SNS, Spike, Black Koopa Bro, z999z3mystorys, Ocarinakid, SumnerSam, etc.)
PMS has yet to exist, as of now, we all hang at the normal PM board. I don't know about before then, but when I arrived, the Shy Guy Squad has just started, it's seventh member, yazzyguy, joining with his very first post the day after I officially arrived. I popped in with my "Kaaaaaaaaaaaa-wizzzzzzzzzzzz" and they went fairly well, much better than the horrible game-shows that were already there. (Oops, that's biased.) SNS preaches not to betray Geno by giving Star Pieces to Merlow. Soon enough, CJayC figured we'd need a social board, after all the factions and quizzes and stuff, so Paper Mario Social was born.

March 2001:

So, PMS began, and everyone envied the SGS, with their exclusiveness and all. All the other clubs were open freely, but not the SGS, which instantly made them the most popular. They held inductions every sunday and everyone tried to get in. The two most popular places belonging to the SGS were the Shy Shack, a nightclub that got at least 2 topics filled to 500, and the Super Shy Guy RPG (by this time it was version 2, made by Doodler4.) I personally joined it, though not in the SGS yet, but hated the lack of organization (like I disliked the quizzes). I mean, there wasn't even a DM. So, I made my own RPG, which was at first called "The RPG for Everyone, not just Shy Guys." Also, around this time Willis created the PMIFC, or Paper Mario Illegal Fighting Club, and it was a big success. SNS slipped through the cracks in the floor, and was greatly missed. Also, back at the normal PM board, Jake(not Spy, but Vire), then under the name General Shy Guy started the Magikoopa Army to wage war against the Shy Guys. (Ironic, isn't it? He soon changed his name to General Magikoopa.) BlastoiseIII created the Scarealot Boo's Club. Hello My Name Is created the Star Kid Elite. Ocarinakid creates the Shy Square, a shop for everyone, and starts his tiff with Yazz. At the end of March, Chichi convinces Yazz to change his name to Etienne Nuar. And the SGS finished it's inductions with 17 memebers, ending with Willis and me as the last two. Chicken Pot Pie Guy became the official devil of PMS. Willis went on the First Grammar Crusade. Daisy made a kissing booth, it became a success, Wil called her a whore.

April 2001:

To start the month on a nice step, Ocarinakid become down-right insulting to everyone on the board, even me, and I hadn't done anything personally to him. His last post was in my shop topic insulting all PMSians. He left in a flurry. Wil retooled the English Language. Brainstrain and daisy also fell through the woodwork at this time, and were slightly missed. The April Paper-view for the PMIFC started, but took more than April to finish. Hi Im Bob and Paper Mario get into the giant Who's the Real Bob fight, which would be resolved in the April Paper-view at the PMIFC. Hi Im Bob won the right to the name Bob, though, of course, Hi Im Bob was actually younger Jake, and Paper Mario was the real Bob. About mid-April, elections for the King of PMS began. It came down to two people, Willis and Etienne Nuar. WIllis won with 1 vote. It is speculated he won because of his popularity from the PMIFC. Willis created a hierarchy of Princes and Barons (and Baronesses) below him. Azumarillman makes his first PMSurvivor, and it fails. The PMS Newspaper starts, with many funny articles, including the first where Willis informs the board for the first time that our initials are, in fact, PMS, and we all laughed. Someone named Die Newspaper can and harassed the Newspaper Staff. I was hired by Willis to capture and question him, which I did in my White Room topic. His identity is still unknown to this day.

May 2001:

Re-Arrivals: My Stinky Socks(younger Jake)
Willis jokingly banished Lord of the Rings for a week for saying he liked Hentai, but LotR didn't come back when asked. The Mech RPG is started by Vitreous, and it went well. Solomine came and created the Noob Clan *strikes a pose* with My Stinky Socks in order ot protect the rights of newbies. Solo becames the worlds most popular newb. After My Stinky Socks is revealed as younger Jake, he switched to the Darth Kirby name. Chichi's What I See You As topic is all the rage. The first PMS awards take place, and Spy destroys the place with his gundam and takes Vanna T hostage, Doodler4 wins a life-time achievement award. Azumarillman retried with PMSurvivor: Toady Island, and it was a big success. Fall of Lodis RPG existed for some time before failing.

June 2001:

Re-Arrivals:
DZY351378 won the million star piece prize in PMSurvivor, playing as Lava Piranha. Younger Jake becomes Vire and finally settles with one name. Legend of the 160 Stars comes to a finish, revealing Merlow to be the true evil in the Mushroom Kingdom, and becoming the first RPG to ever do so at PMS. Azumarillman leads the Second Grammar Crusade. He then creates and starts PMSurvivor: Fungal Jungle, which is much more successful than the one before it. Wil makes his Dragonrider RPG, and Solo gains more reknown in it with his Lute. The RPG, needless to say, failed. I start the second installment of the Merlow Trilogy, Council of Darkness, which is much more successful than the one before it. n040687 starts an RPG because he's bored. Spy throws Willis out a window and tries to become King. He fails. Steven tries the same thing. He fails. Wil created the Drow RPG, which lingers as the longest topic on PMS, because it wasn't purged until August, when Wil went away and I forgot to bump it for him. Wil blames Solo for the Drow RPG never starting. poopie comes to reek havoc, claiming he "iz numbr 1 in da gam."

July 2001:

The month started off with a bang, because it was Canada Day, and the Canadians did some stuff. But, of course, on the 4th of July, we Americans stuck back with full force, sending BKB, CK and others into hiding. Ah, the memories, the fun. Dud appears, asks "who is here." Azumarillman admits to being poopie. With the return of Dark Penguin, the Randomness of the board greatly increased. I created "The Evil Mark" in hopes of getting the board to not mod stupid things, thus giving us more freedom. But, it was deleted (my only mod) along with the Random Post Topic. This angered many, and it may have been just a coincidence, but at that time we had our first and only resident mod, or at least temporary. Celestial Avenger showed up and made a few posts. After being accused of deleting the Random Topic, she left, and the Disruptive Army was created by PandemoniumPrincess(Peach) and LordChaosSupreme(DP). Dimagic arrived attempting to take over the world and hands out toasters.

August 2001:

Re-Arrivals:
PMSurvivor, Fungal Jungle came to a close, with Digitalpython winning, playing as Parakarry. For PMSurvivor 3, Azumarillman and Peach team up. Oh my what a disaster that was. It starts out okay, but the Survivor ends up struggling. Azumarrilman and Peach end up disagreeing on too many things, and soon it's war between them. Most people sided with Peach, though some, like Willis, did not. Willis was finally cast down from his kingly position, and a new king was voted for. ZZTMan became king, but only for a day, before it was decided to revert back to anarchy.

September 2001:

Wil tries to bring some sort of government back to PMS by creating the council, like the Roman body of government. But, too many fights come from it, mostly started by Etienne, so it didn't happen. Anarchy reigned supreme since then, except for the unwritten rules of PMS, which eventually were written down on the PMS Constitution.
