Proposed Constitutional Change
This change will be voted on during the Membership Meeting held May 5, 2002
Currently the Constitution reads as follows:
Article V: Membership, Section 1: Eligibility
Any person over the age of twenty one (21) years of age is eligible as a member of this club. Each member in good standing is entitled to vote on all matters pertaining to club affairs at annual and quarterly meetings only. A candidate for membership in this club must fill out an application form and be sponsored by two (2) members. These sponsors must be members in good standing for a least one (1) year. The candidate for membership will be presented at the next executive board meeting for approval. A fee of 30 dollars must accompany the application for membership. A candidate accepted as a member of the club becomes entitled to all the club privileges immediately upon acceptance by the executive board at that meeting.
The Constitution shall be changed as follows:

A candidate for membership in this club must fill out an application form and be sponsored by two (2) members. These sponsors must be members in good standing for a least one (1) year. The candidate for membership will be presented at the next executive board meeting for approval. One sponsor must attend the approval meeting on behalf of the new member candidate. A fee of 30 dollars must accompany the application for membership. The candidate must attend one (1) meeting before they become an official member. A candidate accepted as a member of the club becomes entitled to all the club privileges immediately upon acceptance by the executive board at that meeting. New members will be presented a copy of the Constitution and by-laws upon acceptance.
