Proposed Constitutional Change
This change will be voted on during the Membership Meeting held May 5, 2002
Currently the Constitution reads as follows:
Article IX: Membership Dues
The annual dues for membership shall be twenty (20) dollars. Dues for new members shall be thirty (30) dollars. Dues will be posted in October and must be paid before the annual meeting. Any dues received after the annual meeting will be subject to a late charge of five (5) dollars. Any member who has not paid his dues by the close of business on March 31 will have his membership terminated. To continue his membership he will have to reapply as a new member, pay thirty (30) dollars and be voted on at the next monthly meeting. Honorary dues shall be ten (10) dollars.
The Constitution shall be changed as follows:
The annual dues for membership shall be twenty-five (25) dollars. Dues for new members shall be thirty-five (35) dollars. Dues will be posted in October and must be paid before the annual meeting. Any dues received after the annual meeting will be subject to a late charge of five (5) dollars. Any member who has not paid his dues by the close of business on March 31 will have his membership terminated. To continue his membership he will have to re-apply as a new member, pay thirty-five (35) dollars and be voted on at the next monthly meeting. Honorary dues shall be fifteen (15) dollars.
This Constitutional change will apply to the 2003 dues.
