Joe Navera
I was born in the Philippines in the year 1963. I have Cerebral Palsy (CP) and I have a speech problem, but you can understand me when you get to know me. I also can crawl on knees sometimes to get around the house otherwise I am in a wheelchair. I have both manual and motorized wheelchair.� My CP is called Athetoid. It is a type of cystic fibrosis in which I show constant uncontrolled motions.
I am a divorced father with a wonderful daughter that I'm so blessed to have. Her name is Joslyn Navera and she was born on January 5, 1995. She is a beautiful girl that God that God blessed me with. She is the love of my life.� Unfortunately my daughter's mom is different. She used me as a passport to enter this country U.S.A
Since I have a Joint Custody. We lived with my parents. They help me by taking care of my daughter and myself. I am very thankful because most parents would send their child away to a care home after eighteen years of age. I am over 30 years of age, and I still live with my parents. I am also very thankful to have a sister. She is two years younger than me and protected me ever since we were young. My mom told me that when I was four years old and when my sister was two; she would go out of her way to help me with anything. She still does it until this day. I want to thank God most of all for blessing all the people that came into my life.
My hobbies are using the computer. Such as the Internet, chat with friends online and write stories or poems about my feelings. I listen to Christian music and some easy music. I even take strolls with my motorized wheelchair around the park, just to think.
